Eighth Annual Christmas Dinner
Students, faculty, and all U of C employees are invited to attend.
Festive dinner will be served at Ploughboy on
Friday, December 25th, 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m.
Those wishing to attend should register with Ploughboy staff by Monday, December 21nd or email specialdinner@ploughboydiners.com
Ploughboy reserves the right to limit the number of registrants.

Organic Fair Trade Coffees - In 1989 coffee labeled "Fair Trade" was introduced into Europe and soon began appearing in Japan, Canada, and the U.S. The Fair Trade label is the work of the Germany-based Fair Trade Labeling Organization International (FLO) and signifies that the roaster purchased the beans directly from FLO-approved coffee cooperatives. This direct buying cuts out the middle-men and ensures that farmers earn about two times the global market price for their beans.
Fair Trade coffee is unlikely to change the structure of the global coffee market, as it accounts for only about one percent of the total amount of coffee traded. But for the farmers involved in the program, it can make a big difference. And it makes a difference to Ploughboy and its customers.
